Hello, I'm Felix
I work as a project manager, am a parent, and I'm an expatriate living in Berlin, Germany.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Germany wasn’t in the original plan. Like many expat journeys, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
Those initial months were intense — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Everyday chores seemed more complex than expected.
The Adjustment Period
Culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of learning on the job were part of it. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built RadiantVoyageCraft
Most online guidance fell into corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was genuine, everyday family insight.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical advice drawn from real-life experiences in Germany.
What This Site Does (And Does Not)
This site is:
- Hands-on experience from living in Germany
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated when something truly changes
This site isn't:
- Not a tourism authority resource
- A sponsored review platform
- A generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in Germany continues, and the learning journey goes on. As long as the information remains useful, I will continue recording what we learn.
If you have questions about family life in Berlin or anywhere in Germany, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards,
Felix
